Who's behind Roardex
We're three people. Farid wrote the indexer, Vlada makes it usable for other developers, and Amir handles the parts that aren't code. The name comes from roaring bitmaps, the data structure our index runs on.

Farid designed and built the whole indexer: the Flashblocks polling and reconciliation logic, the roaring-bitmap log index, storage on Pebble, the HTTP API, and the Merkle Mountain Range proofs with their on-chain anchor contract.
From this project
- Found and fixed an O(n²) bug during validation — a 500k-log indexing pass went from ~9s to ~150ms.
- Ran two indexing strategies side by side on live testnet traffic; the compressed index won with 17× less memory.
- Learned to tell a real chain reorg apart from routine preconfirmation catch-up — it only showed up after hours of live running.
